Mallorca is a European paradise open to the world; an ideal place to spend holidays. The island, the largest of the Balearic Islands, has a surface area of 3.640 km². Its 555 Km. long coastline is its main attraction. Its beaches and coves rival each other in charm. Its population is of 741.000 inhabitants distributed throughout 53 municipalities, of which 347.000 reside in Palma, the capital.

Mallorca has a wonderful weather, characterised by warm summer seasons and mild winters. The annual average temperature is of about 20 ºC. This is the Spanish region with the most hours of sun per year.
The island has a marvellous road network. There are 3 motorways that begin in Palma: the A-19 leads to the airport and to Llucmajor; the A-1 takes you to Palamnova-Andratx, and the A-27 finishes in Inca-Alcúdia. Additionally, a 50 Km. long, fourth motorway is currently under construction: the one that will link Palma and Manacor.
During summer, the sun and the beaches entice you to relax. But any season is lively and bright in Mallorca, a place of eternal spring, where the sea and the mountains are bathed by a Mediterranean sun; a place where beauty and kind people blend in an unparalleled landscape.
